Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with a non-stick baking mat or parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl mix sifted almond flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, pecan cookie pieces, swerve, salt, and baking powder.

In a separate mixing bowl mix melted butter, egg, chocolate chips, and vanilla extract.

Mix wet ingredients and dry ingredients until you have formed a cookie dough.

Roll the dough into 6 evenly sized balls and place on a sheet pan lined with wax paper or a baking mat. Gently flatten them down with a fork into the shape that you desire. (I like to keep mine at about an inch tall)

Place in the oven for 15-17 minutes.

Take the cookies out of the oven and place them on a cooling rack until cool.
