  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp almond flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp Swerve Sweetener
  • 1/4 Tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 Tsp baking powder


  • 2 oz softened cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp softened butter
  • 3 tbsp Swerve Confectioners
  • 1/2 Tsp vanilla extract



  1. Melt 2 tbsp of butter in a large microwaveable mug for 30 seconds.  I like mugs that are short and wide so that the cake is spread out over a larger surface.
  2. Add the remaining cake ingredients to the mug and mix well.
  3. Microwave for 90 seconds.
  4. Let the mug cake cool while you make the frosting.
  5. For the frosting simply place all the ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix well until you have a nice creamy texture.
  6. Spread the frosting over the top of the mug cake and place in the fridge until it has reached the desired temperature.
