Though my blog is designed to help people make great keto desserts recipes, firing up the oven after a long day might be out of the picture. This is why I wanted to share some of my favorite go-to keto snacks you can find on Amazon.
These keto snacks are perfect for people who do a lot of traveling because they are all pre-packaged and easy to fit into your luggage. Additionally, these are great treats to keep around in the office or any place that you might need a keto-friendly snack in a pinch.
Having keto friendly snacks handy can help some people avoid cheating on their diet. Often times people give in when they have let themselves get too hungry. I have tried my best to make my keto snack list as clean as possible. That said, check the ingredients before you purchase to make sure it is in line with your way of eating.
In addition, all of the keto snacks mentioned in this post vary in fat and carb content. Remember you still need to stick to the proper macros and limit your net carbs to a certain amount each day. Though all of these snacks are low-carb, that doesn’t mean you can eat them in an unlimited quantity.
#1 MOON CHEESE
Moon cheese snacks are my favorite keto snack of all time. Not only do they taste amazing, but they are also high in fats and protein and contain 1 or fewer carbs per serving. These low-carb treats are a perfect substitute for a bag of high-carb chips.
In addition, they come in a variety of flavors and are easily portable. This makes them a great option to keep in the car or in the desk at work.
#2 LILY’S CHOCOLATE BARS
Lily’s Chocolate Bars taste just as good as a regular chocolate bar. They are the perfect treat when you have a chocolate craving but don’t have the time to bake up a keto friendly dessert. Though all of them are low in carbs compared to your typical chocolate bar, they vary in carbs from bar to bar.
My favorite, Lily’s Creamy Milk Chocolate contains only 3 net carbs per serving. The whole bar contains 2 servings, so you can enjoy half a bar of creamy milk chocolate for only 3 net carbs! To figure out how many net carbs are in each bar, simply subtract fiber and erythritol from the total carbs. This is important because some of the bars contain more net carbs per serving than others.
For example, Lily’s Crispy Rice contains 23 total carbs, 12 grams of fiber, and 5 grams of erythritol per serving. After subtracting the fiber and erythritol from total carbs you have 6 net carbs. I suggest trying a few of the lower carb options out and seeing which ones you like best.
#3 EPIC PORK RINDS
Epic pork rinds are a great option when you are looking for something crunchy, salty, and keto friendly. They make an excellent substitute for potato and tortilla chips. In fact, I like to use them as a base for keto friendly beef nachos.
The oven baked Himalayan sea salt and chili lime flavors featured above each contain 0 net carbs per serving. Though they do not have the best reviews on Amazon, I personally like them very much. There are some very popular brands that many people find to taste better than Epic.
However, many of them use ingredients that I do my best to stay away from. That said, I am going to stick to either Epic, 4505, or Field Trip pork rinds to keep my snacking on the natural side. Both 4505 and Field Trip make for a delicious keto friendly pork rind snack in lieu of Epic.
#4 DUKE’S SMOKED SAUSAGES
Duke’s smoked shorty sausages are a keto classic. They are made from hormone and nitrate free meats and are very low in carbs. One serving of the Duke’s original contains 4 grams of fat and only one carb. These keto friendly snacks are great for road trips and for snacks to have around the office.
In addition, Duke’s comes in a variety of flavors. All of the flavors that I have tried taste amazing and contain very few carbs. Some do contain more than others so check out the back label before purchasing. My favorites are the original, the hatch green chili, and the hot & spicy.
#5 CELLO WHISPS
Like Moon Cheese, Whisps are amazing keto snacks made from cheese. The only problem with these products you want to eat the whole bag. Not only do they make great snacks, but are also used in many recipes. For example, Whisps are often used as a replacement for bread crumbs and coatings.
Depending on the flavor Whisps typically contain only 1 or 2 net carbs per serving. Use them as a chip for guacamole or a keto friendly cheese spread.
#6 ROYAL HAWAIIAN MACADAMIA NUTS
Macadamias nuts are a very popular keto snack. Macadamia nuts are both high in fats and very low in carbs, even compared to most other nuts. They are particularly high in heart-healthy monounsaturated fats. In fact, just one 28 grams serving of macadamia nuts contain a whopping 16.7 grams of monounsaturated fats.
Royal Hawaiian Orchards macadamia nuts come in convenient packaging and in a variety of flavors. My personal favorite is their wasabi and soy sauce flavor. One 28 gram serving of this flavor, as well as the sea salt, contains only 2 net carbs per 28-gram serving.
In addition, they also come in snack sized one-ounce packages. This makes them easy snacks to take to work or for a day out in the sun.
#7 SMART CAKE
I have a hard time believing that these little cakes have only 38 calories and contain zero net carbs per cake! Even though my whole website is based around baking keto desserts, sometimes it’s nice to have a ready-to-eat sweet keto snack available. Amazon carries a variety of their flavors at a great price.
If I had to choose my two favorites I would have to go with the lemon and cinnamon flavors. However, all of the ones that I have tried so far are delicious!
#8 GIMME ORGANIC SEAWEED SNACKS
Just a fair warning: in case you have never tried seaweed snacks, not everybody loves them. However, it seems that the people who do seem to really love them. They are made from seaweed, after all. That said, it seems to me that people who are into seafood tend to like this snack more that people who don’t.
These salty keto snacks are packed with iodine and contain very few calories and carbs. In fact, one serving contains only 25 calories, 2 grams of fat, 1 carb, 1 gram of fiber, and 1 gram of protein. That would equate to zero net carbs per serving.
#9 KETO BROWNIE BLONDIE
Another good option when baking a keto dessert is out of the question, is KetoBrownie. This sweet and savory keto snack is available on Amazon in two different flavors. Including chocolate almond brownie and blondie brownie.
Though I’m not sure I can say they are up to par with some of my best recipes, they are tasty and super convenient. They can be an easy option when you are looking for a sweet and savory keto snack but don’t have time to make it yourself.
One chocolate almond brownie contains 200 calories, 13 grams of fat, 21 total carbs, 4 net carbs, and 10 grams of protein. The blondie brownie contains 220 calories, 16 grams of fat, 19 total carbs, 3 net carbs, and 9 grams of protein.
#10 WILD PLANET SARDINES
Sardines are a great option to keep around for a keto snack. I originally got this idea after listening to a podcast with Dom D’Agostino. If you have not heard of him you should open up a new tab and check him out. He has and is currently doing some amazing research regarding the ketogenic diet.
Dom would eat sardines, oysters, eggs, and broccoli for his keto friendly breakfast. In addition, I recall him talking about taking sardines with him when he travels. They are great because they are keto friendly, easy to find, easy to store, and can come in handy when in a pinch.
I have not done this recently but I used to have a few of these stored somewhere in my car just in case I got in a tight spot. When I first started keto, there were times I would fall off the wagon and majorly mess up on my diet. Nine times out of ten, this would happen when I had not planned ahead and had become super hungry.
This is when my will power is at its lowest. So I would keep some keto snacks like sardines around so that I had something to stave off hunger until I had a chance to eat a full meal. Though I like Wild Planet sardines, any brand is likely ok. I prefer sardines in olive oil as they provide extra fats and taste much better.
Most people know that olives are fantastic keto snacks. However, you will usually find olives in glass jars instead of ready-to-eat packets like Oloves. Don’t get me wrong you can always package up your own olives, but these amazing snacks can be stored for long periods of time.
Because of this, they are another great keto snack to keep in your office desk or to take on the road. Oloves come in a variety of flavors that all taste amazing. In addition, all of the packets contain fewer than one carb per packet. For example, the garlic and basil flavor contains 25 calories, 3 grams of fat, less than 1 carb, and o grams of protein.
#12 SKOUT ORGANIC PUMPKIN SEEDS
Skout backcountry organic roasted pumpkin seeds come in a variety of flavors and taste great. Pumpkin seeds provide an excellent source of plant-based protein along with a good amount of keto friendly fats. They come in convenient, resealable pouches and are an amazing ready-to-go keto snack.
Amazon carries 9 different flavors of Skout Backcountry pumpkin seeds. Though all are a relatively low-carb, some have a small amount of added sugar. Three of my favorites that do not have added sugar are the sea salt vinegar, pink Himalayan sea salt, and Spicy Texas Chili, all of which contain only 4 total carbs and 2 net carbs per serving.
The pink Himalayan sea salt, for example, contains 190 calories, 16 grams of fat, 4 total carbs, 2 net carbs, and 10 grams of protein.
#13 RAW REV GLO PROTEIN BARS
If you have not tried Raw Rev Glo bars you are missing out! All of the varieties I have tried taste amazing and are low in carbohydrates. In addition, these bars a vegan-friendly and high in protein, making them an excellent choice for plant-based, low-carb diets.
However, I should note that these bars can vary quite a bit in net carbs from bar to bar. Though all the bars would be considered low-carb, some of the bars still have too many to be keto friendly. That said, the best options (and probably the only two I would say are keto friendly) are the creamy peanut butter and crunchy peanut butter.
These two flavors are delicious and both contain 4 or less net carbs per bar. The creamy peanut butter & sea salt 180 calories, 11 grams of fat, 17 total carbs, 3 net carbs, and 15 grams of protein. The crunchy peanut butter contains 190 calories, 13 grams of fat, 17 total carbs, 4 net carbs, and 11 grams of protein.
It is hard to say which one is a better keto snack because the one with the lowest carbs also has lower fat and more protein. That said, I guess it boils down to whether or not you like creamy or crunchy.
#14 STRYVE BEEF BILTON SNACKS
Stryve Bitlong Snacks makes a variety of amazing keto meat snacks available on Amazon. Not only do they have some amazing bagged beef jerky with less than one carb per serving, but they also carry great tasty meat sticks as well. Of course the nutrition will vary from product to product, however, everything I have seen from them is very low carb.
Of course, you still will want to make sure you read the back label before purchasing. That said, the meat sticks are definitely the best tasting beef sticks that I have ever had. I will add that I have worked in the natural grocery world for almost 14 years, so I have tried my fair share of meat sticks and jerky products.
The only downside to these low-carb treats is that many of the products are low-fat as well. However, the mini beef biltong sticks featured above do have a fair amount of fat. In fact, one serving contains 115 calories, 6 grams of fat, 0 carbs, and 15 grams of protein.
That said, as long as you are getting the right amount of fat each day you should be fine. I would recommend snacking on them alongside another high-fat snack. My favorite pairing is the beef sticks with macadamia nuts or olives.
#15 PROUDLY PURE PARMESAN CRISPS
I know what you’re thinking — another keto cheese snack? Yes, it is another keto snack made of pure cheese; however, these cheese crisps are what I use to replace crackers. Whereas Moon Cheese and Whisps are more sized and shaped to replace more of a chip snack.
That said, these cheese crackers are great for sliced meats or heck even more sliced cheese. They are great for choice for an appetizer tray with some keto friendly dips or even for making small sandwiches with. In addition, they come in nice packets that are easy to travel with and make portioning easy.
They also come in a variety of flavors on Amazon and are all very low in carbs. The original, for example, contains 100 calories, 7 grams of fat, 1 carb, and 9 grams of protein per serving. There are only two servings per packet so, for me, one packet is a perfectly sized keto snack.
#16 FAT SNAX
You can’t have a keto snack list without at least one cookie. Fat Snax are great tasting and easily portable low-carb cookies. Amazon carries three flavors, all of which are high in fats and low in carbs. Since they come individually wrapped, they are another great option to keep around the office or in the car. As long as it’s not too hot outside, that is.
My favorite is the lemony lemon flavor, mostly because I love lemon and most other keto cookie companies only carry chocolate and peanut butter. That said, it is just nice to have a bit more flavor variety to choose from. One Fat Snax lemon cookie contains 90 calories, 8 grams of fat, 6 total carbs, 1 net carb, and 2 grams of protein.
#17 PERFORMANCE NUT BUTTER
Though the packaging might be a bit extreme, Performance Nut Butter makes great nut butter with only a few simple ingredients. It’s made with macadamia nut, coconut, cashews, and Himalayan sea salt. All of which provide some great benefits for a pre-workout keto snack.
Since we are using fats for fuel, the fats from these nuts provide 17 grams of fat to give you a boost before a hard workout. In addition, you are likely to sweat out a lot of salt during a workout so having extra salt beforehand might be beneficial as well.
Don’t get me wrong, they are an all-around great keto snack, so don’t feel you need to limit them to your workout days. Each packet contains 189 calories, 17 grams of fat, 6 total carbs, 3 net carbs, and 3 grams of protein. Performance Nut Butter also comes in an 8oz jar as well, however, I find the packets to be more convenient for snacking.
#18 CHOC ZERO KETO BARK
Another great option for all of the chocolate lovers out there! Choc Zero is a chocolate bark that is sweetened only with monk fruit extract. Amazon currently carries three varieties. They are coconut, almond, and hazelnut. Each one of these keto friendly sweet treats is high in fats and low in carbs and protein.
Many keto followers, including myself, agree that Choc Zero keto bark tastes fantastic! In fact, it currently has a 4.5-star rating on Amazon with 929 reviews. One ounce of keto bark hazelnut contains 150 calories, 15 grams of fat, 11 total carbs, 3 net carbs, and 3 grams of protein.
#19 SPROUTED PILI NUTS
It’s hard to get any more keto friendly than Pili Nuts. These sprouted nuts contain more fat and fewer carbs than any other nut. In fact, the Himalayan sea salt flavor contains a whopping 22 grams of fat and only 1 carb per serving. In addition, 80 percent of that carb is in the form of dietary fiber. Giving it .2 grams of net carbs per serving.
That said, you would likely have a difficult time over eating your net carbs with this keto snack. Pili nuts come in a variety of flavors and are perfect for on the go snacking and hiking. My personal favorites are the pizza and ranch flavors.
# 20 BISKETO COOKIES
Another great keto cookie, BisKeto currently has three flavors available on Amazon Prime. I have not tried all of them myself but I do plan to shortly. That said, I have enjoyed what I have tried so far and they currently have a 4.5-star rating on Amazon.
Amazon currently carries the coffee, almond, and lemon flavors. The coffee and almond flavors are great additions to a midmorning or early afternoon coffee. Best of all, one cookie contains only 1 net carb! One cookie also contains 90 calories, 8 grams of fat, and 2 grams of protein.
#21 DIABETIC KITCHEN GRANOLA
Something people often miss is granola/cereal when on a keto diet. Thankfully, Diabetic Kitchen has made low-carb granola from different nuts and a small amount of puffed rice. Yes, I do know that rice is not keto, however, one serving still only contains 2 net carbs.
So depending on how strict your rules are for the keto diet, you can likely enjoy this snack without falling out of ketosis. One 1/3 cup serving contains 160 calories, 14 grams of fat, 8 total carbs, 3 net carbs, and 4 grams of protein.
BONUS: KETO SNACK CARE PACKAGE FROM AMAZON
If all of these options seem to give you decision fatigue, I completely understand. This keto snack care package from Amazon is another great option. It currently contains 20 keto friendly snacks all of which contain 5 or fewer net carbs per serving.
This is the option I would go with If I were new to keto and had not tried many keto snacks out yet. With this keto snack care package, you will hopefully find at least a few keto snacks that you enjoy!
My hope is that you will find at least a few keto snacks that will help you on your keto journey. These are my favorite keto snacks that you can purchase through Amazon.com.
