27 Amazing Keto Desserts Made With Swerve Sweetener

keto desserts swerve sweetener

I am excited to share with you my favorite keto desserts made with Swerve Sweetener! If you’ve tried any of the recipes on my site, you have probably noticed that I use Swerve Sweetener almost exclusively. Simply put, It is my favorite keto sweetener. Not only is it widely available, but it also tastes great and contains 0 net carbs per serving.

Swerve is made from a mixture of erythritol and oligosaccharides. Erythritol is considered by the FDA to be a 4-carbon sugar that does not affect blood glucose levels. Because of this, erythritol should be subtracted from total carbs the same way fiber is when calculating net carbs.

In addition, Swerve measures cup to cup with regular sugar, making it easy to experiment with. However, I personally use a little less in many of my recipes. Because it does contain erythritol, when used in recipes without much liquid or fat, you may experience what is called the cooling effect.

Though not my favorite attribute of erythritol, I will still take it any day over the nasty after taste you experience with other sweeteners. So all in all, there is yet to be a perfect low-carb sweetener. However, of all of the ones I have tried over the years, Swerve (to me) is still the best. Which is why I use Swerve Sweetener in all of these amazing keto desserts.

#1 Keto Dessert Made With Swerve Is Keto Chocolate Cheesecake

low-carb dessert with swerveIt is hard to pick a favorite, however, this keto chocolate cheesecake is amazing. This delicious keto dessert is made with Swerve Granular and Swerve Confectioners. It contains three layers of rich chocolaty goodness. The crust is a chocolate mock graham cracker crust that you could turn into a great chocolate cookie by itself.

On top of that is a rich and creamy chocolate cream cheese filling. This cream cheese filling is loaded up with cocoa powder and melted Lily’s chocolate chips.  Then, of course, it is further sweetened with Swerve Granular Sweetener. The last layer is a very rich chocolate ganache made with more melted Lily’s chocolate chips, whipping cream, and Swerve Confectioners.

This low-carb chocolate cheesecake recipe yields 16 servings. Each serving contains roughly 405 calories, 41 grams of fat, and 5.2 net carbs.

# 2 Keto Vanilla Ice Cream Sweetened With Swerve Confectioners

keto vanilla ice cream recipe ice cream maker

It’s hard to beat a classic like vanilla ice cream, especially when it only has roughly 3 net carbs per serving. This keto vanilla ice cream is made with only four ingredients. That is eggs, whipping cream, vanilla extract, and Swerve Confectioners.

Since the Swerve Confectioners dissolves so well, this keto vanilla ice cream is super creamy and does not have the grainy texture that many recipes made with the Swerve Granular do. Though it is very simple to make you will need an ice cream maker for this recipe.

The recipe yields 8 total servings. Each serving contains about calories 361.75, 37.08 grams of fat, and just over 3 net carbs.

# 3 Chewy Keto Chocolate Chip Cookies

chewy keto chocolate chip cookies with Swerve Sweetener

These chewy keto chocolate chip cookies are my favorite keto cookies. Though I usually prefer crunchy cookies, the texture on these cookies is so similar to cookies made with wheat flour, they really ‘wowed’ me! This is mostly because they’re cooked at a lower temperature and are loaded with cream cheese and Swerve Confectioners.

The cream cheese and Swerve Confectioners help to make these cookies very chewy. Since Swerve Confectioners is like powdered sugar, it is fluffy and does not have the grainy texture of Swerve Granular. (Or most other keto friendly sweeteners, for that matter.)

The end result is a tasty chewy keto chocolate chip cookie. This recipe yields six cookies. Each cookie contains roughly 230 calories, 22.82 grams of fat, 15.67 total carbs, and 2.65 net carbs.
