Swerve Sweetener is by far my favorite keto friendly sweetener. In fact, I love it so much that all of my keto cookie recipes are made with Swerve Sweetener! Swerve makes a number of keto friendly sugar substitutes including a granular, confectioners, and even brown sugar.
I love baking with Swerve because it measures like table sugar. This makes it easy to create keto desserts like all of the amazing keto cookies on this list. In addition, Swerve does not have an after taste like some sweeteners such as stevia do.
The only downside to baking with Swerve is that with some recipes you may experience what is known as the cooling effect. This, however, is often not a big problem. You can minimize the effects by baking with more liquids and fats.
This is the reason I use cream cheese in so many of my keto cookie recipes. I find that when I mix recipes that contain swerve sweetener and cream cheese, there is not a noticeable cooling effect. Swerve sweetener also contains zero net carbs per serving and has no impact on blood sugar levels.
For this and many other reasons, all of these amazing keto cookie recipes are made with Swerve Sweetener! Let’s start with one of my favorites chewy keto chocolate chip cookies.
#1 Chewy Keto Chocolate Chip Cookies Sweetened With Swerve Confectioners
These keto chocolate chip cookies are soft, chewy, and made with Swerve Confectioners. Since Swerve Confectioners is not grainy like the granular, it helps the cookies stay extra soft and chewy. In addition, these keto chocolate chip cookies are loaded with cream cheese to add a bit of extra softness and flavor.
The flour I use for these cookies is a mixture of almond and pecan flour. I use this keto friendly flour mixture almost all of these keto cookies recipes. Pecan flour contains fewer carbs that almond flour and it has a fantastic taste. That said, almond flour is cheaper and there are very few stores that carry pecan flour.
Thankfully, pecan flour is easy to make as long as you have access to a high-quality food processor or blender. Simply run de-shelled pecans through your food processor until you get a nice fine pecan flour. In fact, you can do this with any nut you choose from though some are easier to make than others.
Just make sure not to overdo this or you will instead end up with nut butter. Tasty, yes, but not exactly what we are looking for. Last, but not least, these keto cookies are loaded with Lily’s chocolate chips. All and all, these are perhaps my favorite keto cookies made with Swerve sweetener.
#2 Keto Snickerdoodle Cookies
This is another amazing keto cookie recipe made with both Swerve Confectioners and Swerve Granular! The Swerve confectioners is used in this recipe to help keep the texture of these keto cookies soft and moist. The Swerve granular, on the other hand, is used in conjunction with cinnamon for the classic snickerdoodle coating.
These awesome cookies are very low in net carbs and contain a fair amount of fat as well. In fact, one cookie contains only 1.45 net carbs and 16 grams of keto friendly fat. These are fairly large cookies so you can feel pretty satisfied with just one of these low-carb treats.
Further, these keto snickerdoodle cookies taste incredible. They remind me so much of the snickerdoodle cookies I grew up on. These cookies are made with a mixture of almond flour and pecan flour, which help to keep the net carbs as low as possible.
In addition, they also contain cream cheese and plenty of butter. These cookies truly are some of the softest and tastiest keto cookies I have ever had.
#3 Chewy Keto Peanut Butter Cookies
If the chocolate chip or snickerdoodle isn’t your thing then hopefully these chewy keto peanut butter cookies made with Swerve Confectioners will do the trick. It took me forever to get this peanut butter cookie just the way I wanted it.
It really is thanks to the Swerve confectioners and cream cheese that these cookies finally came out right. Before using Swerve confectioners and cream cheese, I could never get the texture right. Or, if I did get the texture right, the cooling effect would be way too strong to consider posting online.
I tried many other recipes I found online as well with the same disappointing results. For some reason, it is very hard to make peanut butter cookies with the correct texture that also taste good.
I did manage to create a good keto peanut butter cookie recipe, but instead of creating a soft and chewy recipe I made great crunchy peanut butter cookie. I always think of peanut butter cookies being soft and chewy, so I was still on a mission to find a way to do this.
The solution finally came one day when making keto cream cheese cookies. I thought to myself. what if I simply added peanut butter to my cream cheese cookie recipe? After all, the cream cheese will both help keep the cookies soft while also masking the cooling effect of Swerve Sweetener.
I put this theory to the test and, needless to say, I could not be happier with the results. They came out perfectly. They were soft, chewy, and tasted incredible. In addition, each cookie contains less than 3 net carbs and nearly 30 grams of fat!
#4 Keto Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies
Once I finally created a soft and chewy keto peanut butter cookie recipe, I knew I couldn’t stop there. I, of course, had to make some that were stuffed with Lily’s Chocolate Chips. There really is no need to go into too much detail on how I made these cookies.
This is because they are essentially the same recipe as my peanut butter cookies, but with the addition of chocolate chips. However, the chocolate chips do add a ton of flavor to these cookies. They are the perfect treat for when you get a craving for chocolate and peanut butter.
Like the regular peanut butter cookies, I use Swerve Confections and cream cheese to help them stay soft and moist. Each cookie contains roughly 247 calories, 23.71 grams of fat, 13.58 total carbs, 3.36 net carbs, and 6.05 grams of protein.
#5 Crunchy Low-Carb Chocolate Chip Cookies
Alright, so at this point, I am probably starting to annoy all the folks that prefer their cookies crunchy. Not to worry — these low-carb chocolate chip cookies are just for you. These awesome keto cookies are sweetened with Swerve Granular and taste amazing.
In addition to the Swerve, these cookies contain only 4 ingredients and a very simple to make. What is not simple however is the incredible taste and texture of these cookies. They have an amazing buttery sweet flavor and the perfect cookie crunch.
Instead of a mix of almond and pecan flour, these cookies are made with almond flour and pecan cookie pieces. I wanted to keep these cookies as crunchy as possible so I did not want to grind the pecans down to a fine flour.
This keto friendly cookies are an awesome choice for a quick keto friendly breakfast. Instead of your typical breakfast biscuit that is loaded with carbs, try one of these cookies instead. After all, each cookie is loaded with a whopping 22 grams to give you plenty of energy to start your day.
On top of that, each cookie contains only 2.6 net carbs! Enjoy with a cold glass of unsweetened almond or coconut milk.
#6 Keto Butter Pecan Cookies Sweetened With Swerve
These keto butter pecan cookies are sweetened with Swerve Granular and are some of my favorite keto cookies. Butter pecan cookies are the perfect cookie to modify and make keto friendly. After all, with exception to the flour and sugar, all of the other ingredients are already keto friendly.
Thanks to almond flour and Swerve it was a very simple modification. All I had to do was swap the flour and sugar out of a recipe I already knew tasted amazing. What really makes this recipe is the toasted pecans. Sure it takes a bit of extra time to toast the pecans yourself but it is totally worth it!
It is after all hard to beat the taste of nutty pecans toasted in creamy butter. The savory flavor of the toasted pecans once sweetened with Swerve Sweetener is amazing. If you are looking for an amazing keto cookie recipe that is a bit different from the rest, then I highly suggest you try these cookies.
Each butter pecan cookie contains about 285.88 calories, 28.44 grams of fat, 5.11 total carbs, and only 1.72 net carbs.
#7 Keto Pecan Shortbread Cookies With Swerve Sweetener
These keto pecan shortbread cookies are very easy to make and taste amazing. In fact, the whole recipe only contains four ingredients. All you need is pecan pieces, almond flour, butter, and of course Swerve Sweetener.
They are a perfect quick breakfast replacement for a bar or biscuit. This is because, unlike most breakfast bars, these cookies are loaded with 27 grams of fat and only 2 net carbs. Of course, these cookies also make for a fantastic snack or dessert as well.
They are crunchy and buttery just like the butter pecan cookies. However, if you are looking for a fast simple keto pecan cookie recipe, this is the one for you. These tasty keto cookies are very filling have the perfect crunch as any shortbread cookie should.
#8 Keto Crunchy Peanut Butter Cookies
I was lucky enough to create this recipe after many failed attempts at chewy keto peanut butter cookie recipe. I decided to try a peanut butter cookie recipe the same way I made other crunchy keto cookies. Crunchy is not typically the attribute you would associate with peanut butter cookie, however, I’m glad I tried this recipe out.
These crunchy keto peanut butter cookies are sweetened with Swerve and have amazing peanut butter flavor. Like many other cookies on this list, they make for not just a great dessert but also a great meal replacement.
They kind of remind me of a sweeter version of a peanut butter oat or granola bar. They are filled with a whopping 30.12 grams of fat and only 2.56 net carbs. This way you can load yourself up with plenty of keto friendly fats while keeping your carbs to a minimum.
#9 Keto Chocolate Chip Macadamia Nut Cookies
I think the way to make my chewy keto chocolate chip cookies more keto friendly is to add macadamia nuts. This is of course, exactly what I did. Macadamia nuts are amongst the lowest carb nut you can find. In fact, almost all of the calories found in macadamia nuts are from fats.
If this wasn’t enough, I might add that the majority of those fats are in the form of monounsaturated fats. These are the fats many health experts call the heart-healthy fat. In addition, macadamia nut contains plenty of other health benefits as well.
Like my chewy chocolate chip cookies, these cookies are sweetened with Swerve Confectioners and loaded with cream cheese. The Swerve Confections and cream cheese keep these cookies soft, moist and packed with flavor.
Each keto chocolate chip macadamia nut cookie contains an amazing 26.32 grams of fat and fewer than 3 net carbs. That said, it is hard to go wrong with these keto cookies made with Swerve Sweetener.
#10 Perfect Keto Nut Butter Cookies
This is yet another amazing keto cookie recipe made with Swerve Confectioners. However, unlike the peanut butter cookies, this recipe is made Perfect Keto Nut Butter. This nut butter is made with a combination of macadamia nut, cashews, coconut butter, vanilla bean, MCT, and sea salt.
This nut butter contains more fat and fewer carbs than peanut butter. Not only that but the fats in Perfect Keto Nut Butter are in my opinion healthier fats. Macadamia nuts are packed full of monounsaturated fats and the fats from the MCT are an easy fuel source for your body.
This makes these cookies another good option for a keto breakfast. Each cookie contains 27.48 grams of keto friendly fats and only 2.4 net carbs.
#11 Keto Pumpkin Cream Cheese Cookies
I couldn’t make a keto cookie list without a fall inspired keto cookie. These keto pumpkin cream cheese cookies are sweetened with Swerve Confectioners and Swerve Granular. In addition, they are filled with plenty of keto friendly chocolate chips and plenty of butter. For the flour, I use almond flour mixed with pecan cookie pieces. On top of that, I like to add extra pecan or walnut pieces for some extra keto friendly fat.
Each one of these tasty keto cookies contains about 23.63 grams of fat and 3.46 net carbs. I suggest pairing these chocolatey keto cookies with a cold glass of unsweetened almond or coconut milk.
